Commitments From Pennsylvania '27s Continue to Roll In

Below is a review of 2027 prospects from Pennsylvania who recently gave their verbal commitment to a DI college program.    One of the top face-off specialists in Pennsylvania is taking his talents to Loyola. Bare possess explosive hands, polished footwork, and textbook technique. That trifecta leads to frequent pick and pop wins. With possession secured, Bare's speed and shifty moves push him deep into the offensive end for a shot or to draw a slide and then feed an open teammate. Bare's solid frame and nifty stick moves enable him to keep possession on those runs to the cage through significant contact. When a face-off becomes chaotic, Bare's impressive frame, instincts and tenacity assist him in holding off his opponent until he can scoop up the ball. As a nice bonus to his FOGO abilities, Bare's stick skills and high offensive IQ allow him to stay on the field and contribute during 6v6 action.     Fuller is an outstanding SSDM who recently committed to Marquette. The Golden Eagles are adding an athletic short stick with considerable size, fantastic speed, and a non-stop motor. That list of assets enables Fuller to run with ball carriers on the perimeter for long stretches. Fuller will stay on the offensive player's hips and hands until he sees an opportunity to unleash a stick check or powerful crowbar that dislodges the ball. When the ball hits the turf, Fuller will vacuum it up and then sprint downfield to create a transition opportunity. Fuller excels at pulling a GB out of scrum too. His high IQ, speed and change of direction moves make Fuller a plus player in the clearing game. Fuller has also flashed the ability to grab a pole and operate as a LSM on the face-off wing.     Last week Gillette committed to Boston University. The BU coaching staff must have been ecstatic with that decision as Gillette is an athletic lefty with a creative offensive mind. In 2025 Gillette scored 40 goals for Hill while operating at attack and midfield. Gillette does a tremendous job of patiently manipulating the defense with his eyes, re-dodges, and fakes until he finds a high percentage scoring opportunity for himself or a teammate. His quick burst and ability to play with either hand enables Gillette to blow past his defender going left or right. Once Gillette has found open space, he can rip powerful overhands as well as sidearms on the run. Or he can charge all the way to the net for a creative finish in close. Gillette's ability to protect possession with his body and elusive stick moves in impressive. Gillette's speed and change of direction moves enable him to attack the cage from up top, the wing and X. Gillette is an accurate step-down shooter with deep range too.          McComsey is fast and agile multi-sport athlete (football too) who is committed to Lehigh. On the lacrosse field, his speed combined with his anticipation skills enable McComsey to frequently beat an offensive player to a spot and then turn him multiple times. His ability to stay tight to a ball carrier for an extended period is impressive. McComsey's active stick produces frequent turnovers via crafty slaps, pokes, and lifts. This Lehigh coaching staff is going to love McComsey's elite transition skills too. McComsey excels at picking up a ground ball or receiving an outlet pass and then racing into the offensive zone to generate a scoring opportunity. With his remarkable speed, McComsey only needs a step on his man before he kicks it into gear and pulls away. Once that happens, there is no catching this LSM. As a bonus to his skills, McComsey's has displayed a high lacrosse IQ.     In 2025 this 1st Team All-Lancaster-Lebanon League attack stuffed the stat book with 38 goals and 14 assists. Ulrich can attack the cage in a variety of ways. He can initiate from the wing, sweep over the top, and then fire on the run. On the wing Ulrich can also execute a hitch move, then dip underneath his defender, sprint to the net, and finish in close. Ulrich excels at initiating from X too. His quick burst and deep bag of moves get him around the corner for dunks along the crease. When he gets in-close, Ulrich's creative stick skills keep opposing goalies off balance. Ulrich can also deliver precise feeds out of his dodges from X. Recently Ulrich committed to St. Bonaventure.
