Complementing the release of the Top 50 late last week, and with the September 1 recruiting start date sandwiched in between, tonight we unveil the prospects ranked 51-100 in the Class of 2026.

Now, let's get into a few noteworthy storylines and details on my process:
— A criticism that came up a lot while talking to college coaches during this process was the lack of high-level defenders in the class. It's a pretty widely held sentiment.
I ranked only eight defenders in the Top 50, with just three earning five-star status (all outside of the Top 10 overall). However, a lot more names dot the list further down: 10 defenders are ranked between 50 and 70, with another seven in the next 30 spots of the Top 100.
— I felt like there were a lot of deserving midfielders and defensemen with upside, and that's reflected in the back half of the rankings. While keeping in mind (as always) that many attackmen have A/M flexibility and might end up at different positions at the next level, close to a third of the Top 50 featured attack recruits, yet just five attackmen found themselves ranked 51-100.
— Of course, lacrosse fans are all too familiar with rankings largely made up of Mid-Atlantic and Northeast talent. In terms of non-hotbed talent, California has always had a lot of representation (depending on the year), and there's been talent spread from all over.
Looking at this class as a whole, it's hard not to miss the talent coming out of Texas and Florida, in particular. The Lone Star State has seven Top 100 juniors that call Texas home, while the Sunshine State has five players in the Top 100, with No. 1 overall recruit

and Henry Boyd to UNC, George Kelly and Win Chandler to Duke, Brad Barber to Maryland, and Brian Burke to Harvard — had made commitments since the recruiting period officially opened on 9/1.
Faison committed to Notre Dame as a football recruit during the spring, while John Buttafuoco made a verbal commitment to the Fighting Irish last fall while a '25 recruit with intentions of reclassing as a '26, but officially announced just past midnight on the 1st. With the service academies able to get a jump start on 7/1, the Black Knights secured newly minted Top 100 recruits AJ Theodorakakos and Parker Smith in July.
Check back in the coming days for player breakdowns, recaps of the latest commitments, and Thursday's Watch List release.
