About William

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I love the game. I am very coachable, have a high lacrosse IQ, a high-speed engine, and strive to be a great teammate. When I dodge I’m looking to force the slide, looking for the open assist but I’m also a serious scoring threat. I am right-handed but I’ve worked hard to be ambidextrous. I love to ride and force turnovers. My dad was an OLB at Penn State and serves as inspiration on defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m proud of my work ethic. I know I have plenty of room for growth but I will never be outworked. Even as an underclassman, I tried to finish first in all of our conditioning drills. I’m in the gym 4-5 days a week and am still getting bigger, faster, and stronger. I continue to develop as an elite player and very much believe my best days are still ahead of me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Off the field, I am a diligent student and work hard in the classroom, taking a full honors and AP course load and am active in several clubs including our Business Club and DECA.
