DeMatha put the DMV on notice this past season by capturing the WCAC championship for the first time since 2009, and though the Stags were loaded with seniors, Grace was a critical part of the offense as just a sophomore. Racking up 31 goals and 27 assists to earn All-WCAC honors, the Howard County native took advantage of his opportunities and often served as the beneficiary of his teammates’ dodging to constantly find himself at the end of plays. With a strong catch radius, he’s a tall target inside who showed excellent hands and wrists and the ability to finish both appropriately and with flair. Grace does a great job burying stepdowns but can also get up the hash at a high rate, and though he isn’t a burner by any means, he knows how to free up his hands for quality looks and possesses underrated vision.
