After a slower start to the day, Schoonmaker was able to let the game come to him and everything started to change. In an offense full of fellow Calvert Hall teammates, there was a natural flow to the offensive scheme and Schoonmaker was able to be a difference maker. A skilled righty who can play both attack and midfield, Schoonmaker is a crafty player who can hurt you dodging or off-ball. His strength showed off-ball being a constant threat inside with soft hands and creative finishes or as a shooting threat from the outside wing with a deadly overhand shot. With a quick first step, he was able to find his way to the goal as a dodger and make big plays. With a great cast around him, Schoonmaker’s stock will only continue to rise.
