French accelerates rapidly out of dodges and gets through small spaces, fitting the ball into tight lanes. He keeps his eyes up when he’s dodging and can make swift decisions with the ball, it’s part of what makes him such a dangerous player. Even if he doesn’t beat you with his feet, he can beat you with his arm and vision. He’s decisive. Has a very strong step-down shot, and he’s aggressive when riding the ball. French Is comfortable under stress and works well within a few yards of the goal, a spot that can be challenging. He’s got a balanced skillset and grit, I think he will make a lot of noise this season.
