I really appreciated Cornell’s game and how he seemed to be heavily involved at all times. Combining for five goals in Game 1 while working great in tandem with Medfield (Mass.) and 3d New England attackman Maverick McPherson, Cornell demonstrated his explosiveness, slickness, and overall savvy feel for the game. He has an impressive dodging repertoire matched with a lights-out first step that he utilizes from a variety of spots. Always getting to his spots, I was struck by how under control Cornell always seemed to be, as there’s a poise beyond his years. We saw a wide swath of Top 100 talents come out of Colorado in the Class of 2027, and Cornell looks to be on pace to be highly ranked in his own right.

A high-level offensive talent, Will is as crafty as he is dangerous, utilizing deceptive footwork and a diverse arsenal of moves to find his way to the cage consistently. The Naptown Championship Offensive MVP brings experience as both an attackman and midfielder, giving him the versatility to create from multiple spots on the field. Will’s feel for the game is outstanding; he knows when to initiate, when to move off the ball, and how to exploit defensive gaps from behind the cage or the wings. Alongside PJ Kennedy and Wayte McKnight, he forms a trio of dynamic right-handed dodging threats that drive Mad Dog National Black’s offensive firepower. After moving from the Colorado Kings to Mad Dog West Elite this offseason, he’s continued to elevate his game and assert himself as one of the most polished scorers in the 2028 class.
