About Walker

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a patient cover defender, my mentality is to make the dodger mess up and then go for the check. I have very quick feet, and I can match up with faster offensive players while still playing solid defense. I love to communicate and direct the defense while playing good off ball defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very ambitious and I like to play like I am bigger than I actually am. In every game I hustle for ground balls, and I'll do whatever to try and get the ball back to our offense.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in YMSL, where I am Philanthropy head where I also had 31 service hours last year and received the excellent service award. I am involved in SLA, which is a Student Leadership Academy, which is planning events for underclassmen while also learning to be leader from church leaders and the Gospel. I am also in NHS.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

All these clubs, have made me a better leader, communicator, problem solver, and volunteering makes me humble to see how fortunate I am to not be in a position some families are in all the time.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will set me up for my future. My top picks are all the military schools as I would love to serve my country, while also receiving a world class education.
