About Vincent

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very patient goalie who has the ability to read the shooter’s body language. My patiences allows me to wait for the shot before exploding towards the ball. I really enjoy talking to my long poles. I feel making small talk during the game keeps them relaxed and helps keep the game fun. When you keep the game fun you tend to play your best.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love having fun both on and off the field. When I stay relaxed and keep things fun it slows the game down for me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am an active member of the local Putnam County Sheriff Cadet program. I have been giving back to my community through this program for the past 3 years. In school I was accepted into the Health Science Honors Academy and I am a member of the Ambassador club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through the cadet program I have developed advanced leadership skills. As senior member I provide leadership to younger cadets through classroom assistance and physical training.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I have faced was changing schools. The transition from public school to private school was very challenging both socially and academically. Socially I was challenged with making a complete new set of friends while still keeping my grades up. Sports really helped me with this. I was able to make great friends through my school hockey and lacrosse teams.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for colleges that I can play the sport I love but also study in the majors that really interest me. Those two combined is a great foundation for success.
