Last year, he popped off for 91 points on 57 goals and 34 assists, playing the role of Robin to Tedy Frisoli’s Batman and forming a 1-2 punch that was as difficult to stop as any in the country. Possessing soft hands and a scorer’s touch, he’s remarkably two-handed and dependable inside, catching everything thrown at him and putting high-quality shots on cage, showcasing a plethora of release points and utter creativity. He does all of the little things at an elite level and has the grit and poise to score with guys draped all over him, a nod to his hockey background. Quite frankly, his five-spot promotion doesn’t properly paint the picture of how much better Curry has gotten. Even with Notre Dame loading up offensively in its last few recruiting classes, his well-rounded skill set and smarts will get him on the field in South Bend.
