During his freshman campaign, Gagliardi was a first line midfielder for a Jesuit Dallas team that won the Texas Class B state championship. This scary part is Gagliardi is just scratching the surface of his potential. At 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, Gagliardi is an imposing midfielder with impressive speed as well as filthy stick skills. Gagliardi excels in transition as well as coming out the box, where that trifecta of assets enables him to run past, around, or over opposing defenders in order to create a transition opportunity for his team. In 6v6 action, this athletic prospect can get downhill from up top, separate from his initial defender, and then shoot or distribute on the run. Gagliardi is a legitimate step-down shooting threat too. He also does a fantastic job of cutting from the up top or the wing into open space for a catch and fire chances. Plus, Gagliardi’s high IQ and unselfish style means he is always willing to make the extra pass
