O’Donnell’s ability to explode past his initial defender, get downhill, and then score or distribute on the run is impressive. On the perimeter, O’Donnell is also an accurate long-distance shooter who can rip sidearms or overhands into the net. At attack, O’Donnell is comfortable operating at X as well as on the wing or the crease. O’Donnell’s ability to get his hands free in tight spaces makes him impossible to stop around the crease. College coaches will love the fact that O’Donnell can finish in close with either hand.
