This past spring, MacQueen exploded onto the Delaware Valley recruiting scene by posting an astonishing 61 goals and 28 assists. MacQueen’s stellar play has continued on the summer circuit. His quick burst, elusive stick maneuvers, and filthy stick skills created scoring chances for MacQueen and his teammates. One item that really popped about MacQueen’s skill set was his ability to fire long-range sidearms into the net while on the move. In transition, as well as in 6v6 action, MacQueen excelled at dashing into open space and then ripping one past the goalie. College coaches will love that this summer MacQueen scored on the run with his left as well as his right hand. When opposing defenses collapsed on MacQueen, he used his field vision and passing skills to drop dimes on open teammates. Off-ball, MacQueen did a fantastic job of cutting down the middle of the field for catch-and-finish opportunities.
