About Reid

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is grit — I'm a physical midfielder with the speed and endurance to run all game, and I want the ball for the tough, contested shot when it's on the line. Starting varsity since freshman year against older, bigger guys is where that grit got built into my game.

What are you working to improve right now?

I'm continuing to work on shooting on the run with both hands, as well as my physical strength and agility.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I want to be in a program that will continue my development as a person, not just on the lacrosse field. I want to work with coaches and players that encourage creativity and reward players for their hard work.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of the sport, coaches should know I lead by example, not by talking. I'm not the guy yelling in the huddle — I'd rather show up early, outwork everybody in the weight room, and let my effort on the field set the tone for the team. My work ethic is something I take a lot of pride in.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

Business and or Sales; I enjoy working with people and when passionate about something, can be a great salesperson.
