Hawkins was an All-American in ’24 and is arguably the best goalie to emerge from Ohio in recent years. He has been making big plays since his freshman year, and I expect this season to be no different. He is as reliable as they come and remains calm under pressure. You can see how much he enjoys playing the game. Hawkins rarely makes mistakes and is incredibly difficult to score against, using impressively quick reactions and movements. If Kilbourne has a strong season, you can bet he will be a major factor in that success. A true game changer.

Hawkins had a great game in the cage, stopping 16 shots and making play after play. He opened up the contest with a split-save that got the crowd going. He was extremely active outside of the net and has a knack for making the right choice when he’s on the field.

A September commit to Penn State, the 4-star recruit was named First Team All-State and First Team All-Region in 2023. The three-year starter has a great stance, patience, and a high lax IQ, along with great reflexes. Because of his athleticism, he’s highly effective outside of the cage and can make plays with the ball in his stick. The favorite to win the Ohio HS Goalie of the Year award this season, Hawkins is a lot of fun to watch.
