About Payton

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play at a high speed I use my quick feet and agility to run in transition and be versatile while also having strength to play close d.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I want to be the best player on the field and always try to get better if that’s hitting the wall for an hour or watching a YouTube video of how to play a pick.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a pallbearer and I’m on the honor roll.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed teamwork because I play 3 sports. Community service because we do service in Ohio city. Leadership because I have gone on many retreats.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

2 years ago I broke my collarbone and had to work and make it healthy again I missed the start of my spring season but ended better than I was the year before.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to play at a d1 college.

Payton Green proved to be one of the more versatile defenders at the IL ID Experience and should be on the radar for coaches looking for a flexible, athletic option on the defensive end. He showed the ability to play close, run LSM, and even pick up a short stick when needed—bringing value in multiple roles.

Green’s athleticism and fundamentals consistently stood out. Off-ball, he maintained a strong stance that set him up for clean approaches and efficient footwork. He was quick to groundballs in every zone and displayed reliable stickwork in transition. If he continues to add strength to his frame, Green has the tools and versatility to become a dependable multi-role defender at the next level.
