His size and athleticism make him a nightmare to defend—he can dodge past or simply run through defenders to create his shots on the run. Even when pressured, he uses a strong rollback to clear his hands and get his shot off cleanly.

Give him time and space, and his powerful windup makes him dangerous from range. Off-ball, Lyon is just as effective, with excellent timing on his cuts and an ability to find soft spots in the defense. With his combination of size, athleticism, and scoring touch, Lyon has the tools to be a high-impact player at the next level and a priority target for college coaches.
