This past week Francis committed to Yale, which means the Bulldogs have added an extraordinarily talented offensive prospect with imposing size to their 2026 recruiting class. What jumps out about Francis’ skill set is his ability to dodge going left or right and then shoot / distribute with either hand. That well-rounded element to his game makes Francis incredibly difficult to defend 1v1. Once Francis has cooked the initial defender, he does a fantastic job of protecting and maneuvering his stick in traffic. His ability to finish in close from multiple angles keeps opposing goalies guessing. Francis has also demonstrated that he can crank a long range shot into the net from up top or on the wing. Plus, Francis has flashed the ability to hustle back and play SSDM at an impressive level.
