During his impressive sophomore campaign, Haugen scored 24 goals and dished out 12 assists as he helped Half Hollow capture the New York Class A state title. Haugen is an agile, speedy, and skilled prospect who can work as an O-Mid, SSDM and as a face off wing. Offensively, Haugen can torch opponents in a number of ways. He is a fantastic transition player who can go coast to coast for a goal or an assist. In 6v6 action, Haugen gets downhill in a flash to create scoring opportunities for himself or teammates. Hagen has also shown that he is extremely capable of caring the ball to X and initiating from there. His powerful step-down shot must be respected too. As a SSDM, Haugen’s quick cut ability and high IQ enable him to stay glued to a ball carrier for long stretches. On the face off wing, Haugen’s speed, active stick, and tenacity make him a ground ball machine. Back in December of 2025, Haugen announced that after graduation he would be taking his talents to Bucknell.

Goals on goals on goals. Haugen is ready to dance. With power and accuracy, there isn’t much more you could ask for. He has sharp stick skills, creating a much smoother game for both him and his teammates. He carries a positive attitude and supports the people around him.

Haugen finished with four goals and was working effectively off-ball to exploit gaps in Northport’s defensive coverage all game. He often positioned himself perfectly for quick-stick finishes and backdoor cuts, and was one of Hills’ most efficient scorers. While not as flashy as some of his teammates, Haugen’s timing and spacing made him essential to the team’s flow, and his scoring gave Hills the punch it needed to weather Northport’s runs. Whether on the man-up unit or in settled sets, Haugen’s awareness and finishing ability stood out.
