Who doesn’t love a lefty hammer thrower on the right wing? Any coach who values balancing the field on the low corners should consider looking at Torrisi. He’s got rope from beyond mid-range and knows how to get to his spots. But Torrisi is no one-trick pony; he can carry and initiate as well. But he doesn’t enter into do-or-die dodges; he knows when to bail out of a bad angle and make the next pass just as well as finding the open man on the diagonal look. It will be very interesting to see how many goals Torrisi can generate for Phillips Exeter this season, though I suspect he could be committed before the first face-off.
