Savage is a bulldog of a SSDM who uses his agility, physicality, and active stick to apply constant pressure on offensive players. He is a master at getting into ball carriers early in their dodge and knocking them of their intended path. In those situations, Savage has also been known to deliver a powerful crowbar that dislodges the ball. Savage’s scoop and go skills make him a major contributor to his team’s transition game. His separation speed and ability to absorb significant contact on the fast break allows him to frequently go coast-to-coast. Savage was previously committed to North Carolina.
