Despite the loss, the Stevens commit was great. He bailed out his defense numerous times and kept the score respectable with some acrobatic saves, especially in the third quarter. He finished with 15 saves.

Massapequa has a very young team across the board this season. Mistakes have been made here and there but Jannotte has done more than just hold it down in net. In his first four games of the season, he has 62 saves for the Chiefs and has yet to allow double-digits in any game while posting a save percentage of 63 percent. Against a talented Syosset offense, he registered 12 saves in the rivalry win. In that game, he displayed very good positioning in net along with a ton of athleticism. Jannotte was very active, winning multiple races to the end line to help his team get possession. With a two-goal lead and under five minutes to go against the Braves, Jannotte would step up late and record three big saves on high shots to help the Chiefs hold on for the win.
