DePietro is a hard-nosed long-pole, who showed his grit, toughness and determination in the ground ball scrums and with his hard slap and lift checks at the point of contact. He uses his lower body strength to drive away bigger matchups dodging against him and the Manhasset, NY native shows his physicality when laying down a big hit. He moves well laterally, matching feet with his opponent and when he jars the ball loose, he is sharp on the ground ball and is up and out quick. DePietro is fast on his feet in transition and shows the ability to handle the ball, hitting a post in his game vs Evolve Elite. With his speed, athleticism and toughness, he was a really fun player to watch.
