Expert Analysis
Ty Xanders | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Another promising lefty, Myers has the type of skill level and lacrosse IQ that’s to be expected from the son of the longtime head coach at Ohio State. He’s a smooth operator with a sturdy frame, darting through defenses and bouncing off of anybody in his path while showing excellent stick protection. His cuts are sneaky and perfectly timed, and his handle is impeccable, as he doesn’t necessarily need the ball to be successful. Able to take advantage of defenses constantly keying in on him, Myers is a gifted passer who can throw guys open and do so with flair. As a scorer, he’s got all kinds of fakes and loves to get creative, evidenced by his tape of him playing box. I wouldn’t dare predict where a ’29 will end up playing at the next level, but I’d say we can probably rule out him matriculating to Ann Arbor.
