Few players at the Freestate Showcase had the offensive impact that Machiran did. Whether he was setting up a teammate or finishing it himself, the crafty lefty attackman was the catalyst for his team’s offense. His production—multiple goals and assists—only told part of the story. What really stood out was his ability to consistently break down defenders and create quality chances.

Machiran’s dodging is slick and efficient, especially from his left side. He has a knack for getting to the doorstep or buying just enough time to read a slide and make the right decision. One of his most impressive qualities is his feel for timing—knowing exactly when to deliver a pass or rip a shot, often just before his defender’s check lands. That poise and IQ under pressure makes him a serious threat every time he touches the ball. With his combination of skill, vision, and timing, Machiran was without question one of the most dynamic offensive players on the field—and a name to remember in the 2026 class.

An incredibly balanced offensive weapon on track to be a four-year starter for one of Howard County’s top programs, Machiran tallied 29 goals, 30 assists, and 51 groundballs as a sophomore and was named First Team All-County. The smooth left-handed playmaker is a reliable goal-scorer in tight with a full bag of tricks, and he’s plenty capable of finding the open man as a feeder, often catching teams ball-watching when he’s at X. In addition, he’s known to consistently get underneath defenses when attacking from above GLE or show off his stellar shot from deep. After showing well at the Free State Games and the New Balance Underclass event with the Baltimore squad, Machiran joined the Old Line Elite squad this fall and impressed both with and without the ball in his stick.
