Zuccarelli is a multi-sport athlete who is also a standout athlete on the gridiron. On the lacrosse field, that football physicality combined with Zuccarelli’s speed enables him to charge through significant contact as he creates scoring opportunities for himself or teammates on the run. Zuccarelli has also shown that he can bully a defender until he gets to a spot on the field of his liking for a rip or to distribute. But make no mistake, with his elusive cuts and polished stick skills, Zuccarelli is capable of playing a finesse game too. Zuccarelli is adept at getting downhill, separating from the initial defender, and then navigating his way through the help defense for a scoring chance around the crease. He can also blow past his man and then slam on the breaks for a rip from 12 to 18 yards out. Zuccarelli’s timely off ball movements frequently produce high percentage catch and finish attempts around the net.
