A powerful lefty who can fake and finish like it’s nobody’s business. His cuts were spot on, able to make his way to the cage even from X. Mastrogiovanni ended this high school season with 42 goals. He was also named part of the 2nd team All-Conference and ranked 82nd in the state for goals. He represents excellent lacrosse IQ, including redrives, field vision, and quick ball release.

At 6’2, he uses his size to bully defenders while dodging around the crease, lowering his shoulder to get topside, or using his speed and strength to rip lefty shots down the alley. What sets him apart is his speed for a player of his size and his exceptional footwork, which is rare for bigger attackmen. Luke can quickly change direction around the crease, making him a constant threat. His best attribute is his shooting ability – he can sling it from anywhere on the field and is lethal around the crease. Luke isn’t afraid to take a hit while dodging from X, and even when meeting a tough defender, he remains poised and confident, uncorking an excellent shot. His power, finesse and finishing ability make him a dynamic and dangerous player on any offensive set.
