Thanks to his quick burst, low center of gravity, ability to cut on a dime and filthy stick skills, Lamont is impossible to defend 1v1. Lamont uses that list of assets to blow past his man and then elude sliding defenders for scoring opportunities in close. Once he gets to the crease area, Lamont has shown he can finish via powerful overhands, sidearm rips, and crafty bouncers. Lamont has also proven that he can charge the net, draw the slide, and then distribute to an open teammate. His ability to feed cutters is especially impressive. Additionally, Lamont is an effective off ball player. His timely cuts, drifts and sweeps frequently produce clean looks. College coaches will be impressed with Lamont’s ability to crank with both hands.
