About Kiran

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very versatile player. I am fast, so I can fly down the field and catch up to any opponent. I can shoot the ball with great accuracy. And I can stop any offense opponent because my footwork and physicality are extremely good.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Personally I feel that I am very impactful in a positive way. I feel that I am always there to keep my teams head up and make sure we stay a team. I am also very versatile. I am very physical in the middle of the field and on the defensive side and if I am on the offensive side I am not afraid to shoot.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in the cultural club at Fairfield prep and I am also in the stock market club.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the past years as a leader on and off the field I have achieved many things. I have done well over 50 hours in community service at the homeless shelter and at Wakemans boys and girls club. And for athletes I am a very positive person and always work hard no matter the situation and that is why I got the coach’s award in indoor track.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with dyslexia sophomore year and it has been a real challenge for me personally. I have had to work extra hard to catch up on things I have missed in past years and get the extra help I need. It has been very time consuming and tiring to catch up with my study’s, but with all of my teachers support I know I will learn so much.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with the right level of academics I need to be successful. I am looking for a college that can provide my major and extracurricular activities. And finally somewhere where I can take my education and athletics to the next level.
