At 6-feet tall and 200-pounds, McEntee is a physically imposing and athletic goalie. When you combine those physical assets with his quick reactions, fast hands, and active stick, you get a brick wall in net. McEntee does a fantastic job of tracking perimeter shooters and then stepping towards those shots for a save. His ability to slide post to post or cover high to low in a flash is remarkable too. McEntee produces a high percentage of clean saves which enables him to quickly trigger transition opportunities with his precise clearing passes. College coaches will love the McEntee’s constant communicates with the defensive unit in front of him. They will also appreciate his non-stop motor which enables McEntee to run down loose balls and win the chase frequently.
