Johan Van Oast Johan Van Oast 5'9" | 170 lbs | FO | Right Hand St. Ignatius College Prep | 2026 CA earned 1st Team All WCAL in 2023. He won 210 draws for a 60% rate & picked up 82 ground balls as a freshman. In 2024 the sophomore continued his winning ways facing off at 57% (175/307) with 78 ground balls. Johan is a specialty player who helps the Wildcats compete on a national level as St. Ignatius is known as a top-25 program. He has unreal counter moves with a dynamic sprawl. Van Oast will pinch & pop forward for instant offense in the 4v3 or flat break. He will hit the point man with a scheduled pass but if he barrels down the middle far enough he can get steam on his shot! Johan is systematic in getting the ball into his cross. He can exit with a swim move over his opponent to push the pace. Van Oast is quick on the whistle & battles to box out if he needs help from the wing. Verbally committed to Michigan.
