Ohio’s Player of the Year had no problem maneuvering around defenders and slides in this game. Struck showed an uncanny ability to identify and exploit open space on the field. His significant impact was evident in the team’s offensive play, where his dynamic movement off ball caused considerable disruption for St. Xavier and his range of shooting was impressive. He had four goals and two assists in the first half alone.

Struck has been unstoppable this season, scoring over 50 goals and excelling all over the field. The region’s Player of the Year is fantastic in transition, hard to contain, and works hard to free his hands when going for the goal. By my count, he scored eight goals against St. Xavier and was an unguardable game-wrecker.

Named both First Team All-State and All-Region, the future Buckeye is a matchup problem. Proficient on defense and the ability to cause turnovers, he’ll play against anyone and embrace any matchup. He can push the ball in transition and possesses a strong shot, but also keeps his eyes up to make the next pass. Following up on a big sophomore season, Struck should make even more of an impact for an Olentangy Liberty team that will be contending for a state title.
