This fast and rangy LSM is a shutdown defensive presence on the perimeter. Thanks to his refined footwork and high IQ, Jeckell can patiently track a ball carrier for a long stretch and turn him multiple times. When the offensive player eventually leaves an opening, Jeckell will cause a turnover with a timely stick check, lift, or can opener. Jeckell has also been known to use a forceful body check to put the ball on the turf. Jeckell’s elite ground ball skills and speed often generate transition opportunities off those turnovers. When Jeckell sprints into the offensive end, he is a legitimate threat to fire a rocket into the net.
