Palermo is patient before the shot and takes decisive steps on his arc. His size allows him to cover a lot of the net, and his upright stance on a flat arc helps him exploit space and angles. He tracks the ball as it leaves the stick, making saves with vision and nice positioning, often popping the ball up to stop rebounds. I think Palermo has a very solid game. He earned Third Team All-State in the spring.
