“Big, strong, intimidating”—those were the first words that landed in my notes watching Bunting at New Balance. He may not have the quickest feet, but he more than makes up for it with his sheer physicality and presence on the back end. Bunting excels at winning the body matchup; if you challenge him inside, expect to get planted. He also showed poise in the clearing game, where his stick skills stood out—confident on the carry and able to deliver sharp over-the-top outlets. Bunting plays with an edge that makes him a tone-setter on defense.
