Gabe James Gabe James Gabe James 5'11" | 195 lbs | G | Right Hand Dallas Jesuit | 2026 #89 Nation TX earned THSLL Honorable Mention as a goalkeeper & was selected as the Ranger’s Defensive MVP in 2024. He stopped 140 total shots on goal as a sophomore credited with a 59.7% save percentage. Gabe started 10 games as a freshman in 2023 impressively saving 59.2% of the shots on goal. He plays with pizzazz & is a gifted athlete in & out of the crease. James attacks the ball with punches over the top for clean saves in which he can be opportunistic as a quarterback in the clear. He pushes the ball up the hash with confidence, poise & pace. Gabe is creatively talented in the open field with his stick skills & passing ability. He uses his foundational footwork & strong base form to squat down with negative hip explosions on low shots. James does not give up many rebounds but when he does he battles to retain possession. A consensus 4-star recruit & top-100 player in his class. Verbally committed to Ohio State.
