Technically Parker is a prospect from Wilmington, Delaware but I am going to include him in this article because Wilmington is basically a suburb of Philly. Last weekend, Parker worked as a two-way midfielder and was a plus player at both ends of the field. The first item that jumped out about Parker was his blazing speed. On several occasions he picked up a GB in the defensive end, turned on the jets and simply dusted the opposing players as he raced down field. In 6v6 action, that same speed combined with Parker’s serious shake enabled him to get downhill and then elude sliding defenders for scoring opportunities on the run. Defensively, Parker’s extraordinary lateral movement and active stick made him a fantastic on-ball defender. College coaches will love the high IQ and poise Parker exhibited at the Liberty National Fall Classic.
