About Elliott

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

While my primary position is FOGO, I am also a strong defensive midi. My goal is to win faceoffs and ensure strong offensive possession, but I also contribute to the team as a defensive player. By blending face-off specialization with defensive reliability my goal is to get the offense the ball but have the ability to transition to defense and stay on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe myself as a competitive with a mental toughness that ensures I am calm, cool and collected when under pressure. As a three-sport athlete with a cumulative GPA of 3.9 I value the process and dedication of being able to balance my time both on and off the field with an enthusiasm for sports and leadership.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the National Honors Society, I have received the academic Shamrock Award for the last two years, and last year I was on the KHSAA academic all stated team in Football, Wrestling and Lacrosse.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have worked on my leadership and teamwork though my community service activities such as coaching youth lacrosse, refereeing youth wrestling and providing community service through local trash pickups.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

While I consider myself extremely blessed my family has moved often while growing up. I have attended over 7 different schools that has challenged me to make new friends and focus on my academics during those transitions. Sports have always been a consistent part of my life helping me to build relationships and challenging me to be a leader even in new environments.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college where I can pursue my academic career goal of being a physical therapist while also being able to achieve my athletic goal of furthering my lacrosse career.

One of the biggest holes Trinity must fill from last season is at the faceoff dot with the graduation of Canton Lanham, who is now playing at Detroit Mercy. Easter could be part of that answer this spring. Also a wrestler, Easter has a very strong frame and can consistently win the clamp and gain possession himself. He has shown the IQ and ability to get his wings involved as well.
