Parini is a consistent player who makes impressive plays and saves look routine. He possesses excellent reactions and reflexes, which, combined with his patience, make him difficult to score on. His athleticism is a key asset in his game. I like his style a lot, he knows where the shooter wants to shoot and he uses a variety of ways to make saves. Parini excels at making off-stick saves and uses techniques like chicken wing saves to make quick reaction plays on close shots. This keeper is one of the best in the state and will be a key contributor for Thomas Worthington this year.

Kilbourne had a lot of shot opportunities, but the highly athletic Parini did not back down. He started the game off with a great low-to-high save, showing his ability to track the ball. He made saves with his feet all night, a testament to his body positioning.

A two-sport athlete who was named Second Team All-Region 2023, Parini looks to improve on his freshman season. His athleticism allows him to make plays inside and outside of the cage. He takes up the goal with a wide stance and explodes to the ball. He has a quick reaction time and does a good job trapping low shots. He’s young, so he has plenty of upside and plenty of time to improve.
