Collier is an athletic and highly skilled midfielder with considerable size who thrived in the up-tempo style of play at the Committed Combine. This Marist signee demonstrated that he could scoop up a ground ball, receive an outlet pass, or come out of the box and then push the rock deep into the offensive end. Collier’s polished stick skills enabled him to crank or distribute while running full speed. His high IQ and field awareness led to smart decisions on whether to shoot or pass on those fast break chances. In 6v6 action, Collier was a patient dodger who got downhill and then was poised enough to wait for a high-percentage opportunity to develop for himself or a teammate. The coaching staff at Marist will love the way Collier hustled back and played SSDM for stretches.

A towering 6’3 middie who earns his goals and takes a beating in the process, Collier flashed his potential playing for the Crabs this past summer. Armed with a powerful shot, he plays with poise off-ball and finishes efficiently in tight while also proving to be a formidable top-down feeder. Collier has the size and brute strength to be even more dominant if he embraces his physicality as a dodger and puts his shoulder down more frequently. While he’s confident in his shooting ability from tough angles, there are also times when he’d benefit from switching to his off-hand and attacking the inside to increase his scoring chances.
