Adams is an agile close defender with imposing size and an extremely active stick. Combine those assets with his impressive speed, and you get a pole who can harass ball carriers on the wing or behind the net for long stretches. Adams is a master at unleashing powerful slaps or crafty pokes and lifts that put the ball on the turf. His ability to scoop up the resulting GB and then clear the ball himself is impressive. Adams will also smarty rollback and then drop the ball off to an open teammate. His high IQ and refined footwork enable Adams to easily navigate screen action.
