As physically imposing as you can get for a two-way midfielder at 6’4″, 190 pounds, Federighi has the build and skill for the next level. On the defensive end, he smothered matchups this summer. Ball carriers seemed to hit a literal wall when trying to dodge downhill on him. In the NAL championship game against West Coast Starz, he had multiple dodges come his way where he held his own and then some, including one at GLE that was highlight-worthy. When possessions end, he pushes tempo in transition, where he is a threat defenses have to guard.

In settled offense, he is a downhill dodger with a lot in his bag. He is very capable with both hands and dodges at great angles to take advantage of it, hitting shots sweeping to the middle and down the alley consistently.

Another Illinois-bred middie who impressed in Orlando, Federighi is a hulking two-way midfielder—roughly 6’3–6’4 and nearly 200 pounds. When he squares up his man and puts his foot in the ground, he’s difficult to stop, showcasing an excellent shot on the run. His size and physicality make him a matchup nightmare, particularly for SSDMs, who generally have had little success containing him when he gets a step. Federighi was most effective in early offense or initiating from the wing, where he could build downhill momentum yet still stop on a dime to free his hands. I also liked his work on the defensive end, giving him real two-way upside. Overall, he looks to be one of the more promising 2028s in the Midwest.

At 6’3”, Dante brings ideal size and presence to the midfield, pairing his frame with a competitive edge and strong two-way play. He’s dependable on the faceoff wings, excellent off the ground, and plays with a motor that never stops. What makes Dante stand out is his versatility; he can adapt to multiple roles and contribute in all phases of the game, from defense to transition to half-field offense. His commitment to improving and his willingness to do the dirty work make him invaluable to any roster. A driven, team-first competitor, Dante continues to develop into one of the most intriguing midfield prospects in the Mad Dog West Elite pipeline.
