Big, physical, and disruptive, Sinclair looks primed to become one of the best defenders in the DMV as a junior. He sets the tone with his physicality, laying big (and clean) hits on unsuspecting ball-carriers and doing a terrific job of closing out on shots. He’s dialed in both on-ball and off-ball, constantly putting himself in the right spots and excelling at making sure his teammates are in the right spots as well. In addition, Sinclair’s brute force and defensive IQ allow him to guide his matchup away from high percentage scoring areas, and it’s evident that he has a knack for frustrating his opponent. When the ball is on the ground, he’s getting it up off the carpet on the first scoop and has the skills to clear the ball upfield. Delaware has thrived with their defensive recruiting over the past few cycles, and Sinclair looks like a future cornerstone.
