Expert Analysis
Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
After back-to-back 90+ point seasons (111 in 2025; 94 so far in 2026), it is a mystery how this sophomore is still being slept on. Arezzi is a quick twitch attack with filthy stick skills. His ability to play with either hand combined with his serious shake and elusive stick maneuvers makes him impossible to defend 1v1. Arezzi’s snap release as well as his ability to shoot from multiple angles enable him to be a lethal catch and rip threat too. Still, the most impressive element of Arezzi’s game could be his X-attack skill set. From behind the net, Arezzi’s explosive first step allows him to separate from his initial defender and then turn the corner for scoring chances along the crease. Arezzi’s precise passing, high IQ and patience make him a fantastic feeder from X too.

In 2025, Arezzi posted an astonishing 111 points (49 G/62 A)during one of the most successful freshman campaigns on record. Arezzi’s encore season is off to a fast start after he notched six goals against Abington Heights as well as five goals against Southern Lehigh. Arezzi has also posted several other games where he scored two or more goals. This sophomore attack possesses extraordinarily polished stick skills. He can play with either hand, execute elusive stick maneuvers, and shoot from multiple angles. Still, Arezzi’s most impressive asset is his ability to quarterback Parkland’s offense. His explosive first step, combined with his separation speed, enables Arezzi to create scoring opportunities for himself or teammates from anywhere on the field. Arezzi is especially effective when he is initiating or feeding cutters from behind the net. College coaches will love his high IQ and poise.

This fall Arezzi has proved once again that he can crank with both hands from multiple spots on the field. His ability to change levels / angles on his shots is a tremendous asset. Still, what college coaches will love the most about Arezzi is his ability to quarterback a team’s offense from X. Arezzi’s quick burst enables him to blow past his man behind the net and then come around the corner for a dunk on the crease. Or he can initiate from X and when the slide comes, Arezzi will drop a dime to a dime to an open teammate. Arezzi has also shown that he can patiently hold the ball at X until a cutter comes free and then precisely feed that player for an easy goal. As a bonus to his offensive skills, Arezzi has displayed a scrappy side to his game that makes him a plus player on rides.
