About Colin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an aggressive yet balanced player, My ground balls are exceptional, I am a leader on and off the field. I can easily get the ball out the attackers stick and clear the ball, I have around 25-30 clears on the season. My moves easily shake the defenders off. Some of my key moves are the swim move, spin move, step back and the juke, I have made many people collide while clearing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is very good, I help bring others up and keep them from hanging their heads. As a captain when someone makes a bad play or loses the ball, I don't reprimand them, I simply tell them to get the next one, don't be down on yourself. I am extremely coachable, and help my teammates if there moral is low. I help my teammates climb back up from a bad quarter and strive in the next.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I will be doing a club called Ulax as well as Spartans. These are summer leagues, l also do football and track.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed exceptional leadership skills, as I help my teammates not be down on themselves and keep the moral high. I never get angry or yell at my teammates for losing a possession or missing a shot. I help them keep there head up so they can make a play the next time they get a chance. I do community service, such as helping in food drives.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced plenty of challenges, from losing a very close relative to even losing countless championships in my sports. Not once have I blamed others for the losses. I help keep everyone from falling apart. Even though many championship loses hurt terribly, it helps me want it more, practice more and even help my teammates more, Because that helps us win games and eventually the championship.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has exceptional academics and clubs, and also has sport teams like lacrosse, track and football. I am looking for a college that helps me become better at my sport, helps me with grades and getting a great job, but most importantly a college that helps me become a better man.
