About Chase

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as athletic, fast and aggressive. I thrive in fast transition lacrosse and I take pride in passing like a point guard in basketball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm pretty quiet and reserved off the field, but once I get on the field, I play aggressive and am vocal with my teammates. I'm extremely competitive and want to win and will do whatever I can to help the team win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Not at this time, but likely will be in the next couple of years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a Junior, I was named Captain of my previous High School. I had to learn to go from a lead by example leader to a vocal leader, which at first was not natural for me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

It has been very challenging for me to balance playing 3 sports in High School and competing against kids who are focused only on one sport. I've learned to balance my time and practice on my own at home to stay top of my game in all 3. At New Hampton School, I will only be focused on playing Football and Lacrosse.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that provides me the opportunity to play Lacrosse at a highly competitive level and ideally compete for championships. Academically, I am looking for a school that offers majors I'm interested in, such as Computer Science, AI, Finance, Pre-Law, Business or Engineering. I think I would prefer a mid-size campus but I'm open to whatever "feels right".
