Vlcek has nice hand-eye coordination and can make some impressive saves, he makes plays under pressure. He controls rebounds both inside and outside the crease and is deceptive in goal, using a wide stance to cover more space. Vlcek understands angles and maintains strong positional play in the net, which I really like. Additionally, he throws accurate outlet passes and communicates well on the field, pointing out where teammates need to be when he can.
