Hegedus is an athletic and multi-skilled offensive prospect who can play attack or midfield. He is comfortable initiating from anywhere in the offensive end and can dodge to score or distribute. Hegedus is especially effective when he carries the ball behind the net and attacks the opposing defense from X. From there his change of direction moves enable Hegedus to lose his defender and then sweep around the corner for a goal or for a dish to an open teammate. His ability to dodge from up-top must be respected too. Hegedus has also proven that he is a lethal step-down shooter from the wing. College coaches will love Hegedus’ ability to shoot / pass with both hands.
