Early in the summer, Forsythe asserted himself nicely with a pair of goals in the final round of games at Maverik Showtime, then continued to find success throughout the circuit. Another standout for DC Express, Forsythe is a reliable goal-scorer who gets the job done in a multitude of ways. He handles contact well and has excellent hands that allow him to finish with creativity after serving as the beneficiary of his teammates’ dodges. In addition, he’s great at taking advantage of poor approaches and shortstick matchups, and has a knack for finding the net when re-dodging. Routinely hitting the ‘one more’ assist, it would be fair to say that Forsythe is underrated as a passer, too, though he already has 66 assists through two years as a starter on top of his 73 goals.
