At the Victory Fall Classic, Zimmerman displayed a polished, multi-dimensional skill set. This fast and elusive midfielder got downhill in a flash to create shooting opportunities for himself or to distribute to open teammates. While he was on the move, Zimmerman proved to be a patient dodger who waited for high percentage scoring opportunities to develop and then delivered a creative dime to an open teammate. When he operated off ball, Zimmerman cut and drifted into open space for clean looks. His quick release and accurate shooting skills really popped on a handful of sidearm catch and rips. Zimmerman also showed he knows how to effectively execute two-man game action. As a bonus to his offensive skills, on a couple of occasions Zimmerman hustled back and played SSDM at a respectable level.
